Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Nature of Contributions (Tabarru’)
Under Shariah mutual-aid principles, mutual-aid assessments paid towards a completed or active funeral assistance case constitute irrevocable charitable gifts (Tabarru’) made to relieve a deceased member’s family. Consequently, assessments already disbursed to funeral providers are non-refundable.
2. Erroneous or Duplicate Payments
In the event of a processing error, technical malfunction, or duplicate assessment charge, the affected member will receive a full, prompt refund to the original payment method upon notification within 30 days.
3. Voluntary Cancellation
Members may cancel their participation at any time from their member profile settings. Unutilized pre-funded wallet credits remaining in the member’s individual reserve will be refunded upon formal account closure.
